Item Description

Goal pads worn by Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Jack Campbell throughout the entire 2020-21 National Hockey League season, including the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs. These custom Vaughn Velocity 9 Carbon Pro goal pads are first photo-matched to the night of January 16th, 2021, where Campbell would post a 3-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators and begin a historic 11 game run. After winning his first start of the campain, Campbell would go on to record consectutive victories on Jan 24th @ CGY, Feb 27th @ EDM, Mar 20 vs CGY, Mar 25 @ OTT, Mar 27 vs EDM, Mar 31 & Apr 2 @ WPG and setting the new franchise record, along with tying the NHL record of 10 consecutive victories to start a season, Apr 7th vs the Montreal Canadiens. On April 10th, 2021, Campbell would go on set a new NHL record of 11 consecutive wins to start a season, with a 6-5 victory over the Ottawa Senators at Scotiabank Arena. After defeating the Habs on May 8th to clinch top seed in the 2021 North Division, Campbell would continue to wear these pads into his first Stanley Cup Playoffs, recording his first career NHL Playoff victory in a 5-1 Game 2 win over the Habs on May 20th, 2021 the first W posted by a Maple Leafs goaltender against the Habs in the playoffs since Terry Sawchuck in Game 6 of the 1967 Stanley Cup Finals on May 2nd, 1967. Campbell would then go on to record his first NHL career playoff shutout in Game 4 with a 4-0 win on May 25th, becoming the first Maple Leafs goaltender to post a playoff shutout vs the Habs since Johnny Bower in Game 2 of the 1967 Stanley Cup Finals on April 22nd, 1967. Jack Campbell's 2020-21 game used goal pads display great use and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity & multiple 8x10 images of Soupy in action, including the night of April 10th, 2021 while setting his NHL record.
