You are bidding on a unique St. John's Maple Leafs team plaque that was handed out annually to the team's Sportsmanship & Dedication Award winner. The award was first handed out at the end of the 1991-92 American Hockey League season to Craig Johnson, and was last handed out at the end of the 2003-04 AHL season to Clark Wilm. Other Sportsmanship award winners included Kevin McClelland, Yanic Perreault, David Harlock, Brent Gretzky, Nathan Dempsey, Aaron Brand, Kevyn Adams, Tyler Harlton, Syl Apps and Craig Mills (x2). Plaques were not updated with winners after the 2004-05 season, the final season in St. John's, as the team would make the move to Toronto, becoming the Toronto Marlies prior to the 2005-06 season. The 10x14 plaque originated from Lawlor's Trophies & Engraving Ltd in St. John's, Newfoundland, shows significant wear from over the seasons, and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
